Infocus Mackay

Gavin has worked in the financial industry since 1980. His association with Infocus commenced in 2006, after 12 years with another major financial advisory group. Gavin holds a Master's degree in Financial Planning from the University of the Sunshine Coast, and has undertaken other studies in banking and finance, and financial planning. He was awarded the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) qualification from the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) in 1997. Gavin undertakes ongoing training at the highest levels to keep to the forefront of the financial planning profession, which ensures he is able to professionally assist clients. Gavin advises new and existing clients in the areas of retirement planning and superannuation, and general wealth creation strategies. He specialises in social security planning, and aged care financial strategies.
